MESH Solutions for Plasma Cutting
MESH can provide automated solutions for plasma cutting on flat plate, structural members, or even curved surfaces, such as the side of a tank. Many of MESH’s solutions are used to cut bevels for welding, and with high-definition plasma, adding a land to a bevel is even possible.
Additionally, the process can be used to cut through changing material thicknesses, from sheet metal to 3.5in thick material on the fly, and can even cut aluminum. MESH has produced equipment that uses sensors to measure and map curvature in raw material, track and cut material that is moving on a conveyor and even trim excess dross from an earlier oxy-fuel process.
MESH solutions often include a variety of pre-engineered modules such as robotic transfer units and fully enclosed cells. MESH’s fully enclosed cell, also called a MAC cell, can support the full weight of a fume hood and trap and contain all smoke and dross from the cutting process, maintaining your operator’s safety and good air quality in your plant.
