Refund and Returns Policy
1. Applicability
This Returns & Warranty Policy applies to the sale of MESH Automation (“MESH”) pre-engineered palletizer systems (“Products”) sold by MESH to the Buyer under a Purchase Agreement. Because of the nature of these Products (customizable, integrated, on-site installation and commissioning), standard consumer-style returns are not feasible except as provided below.
2. Returns for Change of Mind / Non-Defective Products
The Buyer acknowledges that once the Product is delivered, installed, commissioned, or otherwise integrated into the Buyer’s production line, returning the Product for a full refund is not available.
Before installation or commissioning:
MESH may, at its discretion and subject to the conditions below, accept a return of an uninstalled, unused Product within thirty (30) days of delivery, provided that:
- The Product is in original, unopened packaging and in resalable condition.
- The Buyer obtains a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from MESH in advance.
- The Buyer pays a restocking fee of twenty percent (20%) of the purchase price and covers all shipping, uninstalling, and uncrating costs.
Once installation or commissioning has begun (including site arrival, system integration, or acceptance steps), the Product is non-returnable for change of mind.
3. Warranty for Defective Products
MESH warrants that the Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance, or from delivery if acceptance occurs later as specified (the “Warranty Period”).
If during the Warranty Period the Buyer notifies MESH in writing of a defect and cooperates with reasonable diagnostic efforts, MESH will, at its discretion:
- Repair or replace the defective component or Product; or
- If repair or replacement is not feasible, accept return of the Product and provide a refund of the purchase price paid for that Product (less any applicable usage allowance), subject to MESH’s prior written approval.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage or defects caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, modification, or failure to follow MESH instructions.
- Consumables, normal wear-and-tear items, or damage caused by external factors such as power surges or environmental conditions.
If the Buyer returns a Product for a warranty claim and MESH determines that the Product is not defective, the Buyer agrees to reimburse MESH for all costs incurred, including shipping, labor, and diagnostic expenses.
4. Return Logistics & Cost Responsibility
For any approved return under this policy, the Buyer must obtain a written RMA from MESH. MESH will provide instructions for packaging, shipping, and any required de-installation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- The Buyer is responsible for shipping the Product or defective component to MESH or a MESH-designated location.
- MESH will cover reasonable shipping costs for the repaired or replacement Product back to the Buyer’s site.
- The Buyer is responsible for all costs related to uninstalling, crating, shipping, and re-installing the Product.
5. Limitations & Exclusions
The remedies described in this Returns & Warranty Policy are the Buyer’s exclusive remedies. MESH’s total liability under or in connection with any Product shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the Buyer for that Product.
This policy is subject to any additional terms set forth in the applicable Purchase Agreement or signed site contract.
MESH may amend or update this policy at its discretion. The Buyer’s rights are governed by the version of the policy in effect at the time the order is placed.
